Ice storm continues tonight into early Monday morning. What: Freezing rain leading to icy surfaces. Ice accretion or build-up of 15 to 20 mm on some surfaces. When: Tonight into Monday morning. Additional information: Freezing rain will continue tonight. The freezing rain may briefly change over to rain Monday morning as temperatures are expected to climb to just above the freezing mark. ### Roads and walkways will likely become icy and slippery. Travel will likely be hazardous and some routes will likely be impassable. Prolonged utility outages are likely. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. Strong southwesterly winds are expected to develop Monday morning with the passage of a strong cold front. The winds will become northwesterly through the afternoon. The winds will ease through Monday night.
